Hello, I'm Klass, form Water City.
I've been on Furcadia for years. Years and years and years. I consider myself a patriot of Furcadia. I would do anything for Furcadia. It's my home, and I enjoy it very much. I have my Water City guild that I made form scratch by myself and it has grown into teh largest guild that has ever existed on Furcadia, with over 2000 members. I regularly have 30-50 furres in my dream and I get new furres in there every day. I love you guys. You made me famous. You made me popular. You made me well-known enough to be put on teh Beekin Council. You make my Furcadia life worth living. I can't imagine life without you and without Furcadia. I will always support Furcadia with anything and everything.
----UNLESS----
...they keep charging money for 'special' things. First there was wings, and now there's dragons. I mean, if they keep going this way, what will they charge for next? Clothes? I mean, Furcadia is becoming more and more commercialized as time goes on. I don't like what I am seeing. I always remember Furcadia as that nice place I could go and didn't have to worry about paying for stuff. Now everyone is going "How much does this cost?" and "What's that cost?" and it's making me sick. I don't want to log on to Furcadia one day and find out that I have to send them 25 cents each time I want to move my avatar one space.
Think about it, friends. How would you like it if you went to Allegria, pressed ctrl-T, and a message popped up: "Please send $5 US to blah blah blah..."? I for one would be extremely pissed. I know that's not what most of Furcadia wants.
I understand that Felorin and Talzhemir put a lot of time and money into Furcadia and don't get much back, even with teh wings and dragons, but that doesn't matter in my mind. They should be doing this because they enjoy it, not for money. I've spent a lot of time on Water City, and I don't get anything form teh twinks who go there. You don't see me complaining about it. That's because I enjoy what I do. I don't expect money back.
Please, friends, hear what I have to say, and understand teh direction that it seems Furcadia is going in. If something isn't done soon, you could find yourself thinking very carefully about each thing you say on Furcadia, since you will be charged for every character you type on teh client.
